Not just a great valley, but a shrine to human foresight, the strength of granite, the power of glaciers, the persistence of life, and the tranquility of the High Sierra.
First protected in 1864, Yosemite National Park is best known for its waterfalls, but within its nearly 1,200 square miles, you can find deep valleys, grand meadows, ancient giant sequoias, a vast wilderness area, and much more.
It is a place to forget what you are currently concerned of, forget who you are and get involved and enchanted by the greatest gift on earth – pure nature
Before you enter to the Park you will drive to wilderness first, lonely streets winding through giant woods
As you get closer your phone connection will be erased or very small
Go there, open your eyes and let the nature get you back to earth.
We are so tiny human beings, I felt like a sand corn when I saw the Half Dome, which is a 8,842 ft huge rock ; among the most recognized natural features in Yosemite, its western face is a sheer cliff of Plutonic granite – the youngest in Yosemite.
At the view points it is pretty crowded but just stay away from the people, and you will find the most beautiful things you ever saw.
There is an awesome walk to the Vernal Falls which is a 317-foot waterfall on the Merced River .. about a 4 hours round trip. The sight of the river accompanies you the whole time. It was pretty late when we got there so we took all our strength and hiked up as fast as possible.. it is a pretty easy and nice hiking trail.. and suddenly it opens up a giant view for you; I couldn’t walk any step further cause the Falls captivated my entire body.
They are so powerful and represent pure nature. And I couldn’t believe it…-surrounded and framed by a rainbow. I hiked towards it and couldn’t leave anymore even though water was running down my body because the waterfall is so powerful.
You can go on hiking to an upper fall called Nevada Fall if you want to but sitting up the Vernal fall and looking down kept us there for the sunset.
Enjoy this beauty!
